Aldo Pietropaolo, Founder and Principal Advisor

With over twenty years of experience, Aldo Pietropaolo has helped organizations navigate the intersection of identity, security, and innovation. From co-founding Good Dog Labs (acquired in 2017) to leading strategic identity initiatives at Fortune 500 companies, Aldo’s career has revealed a timeless truth: technology evolves, but human character and wisdom sustain real progress.

He founded Sophos Advisor on a conviction rooted in his Christian faith — that leadership is an act of service and stewardship. Advisory work doesn’t begin with selling technology; it starts with listening, understanding needs, and guiding others toward clarity and purpose.

Guided by the model of servant leadership, Aldo believes leaders are called to build systems of trust rather than control. When I started Sophos Advisor, I wasn’t just building an advisory and consulting firm — I was answering a calling. For years, I had observed how technology could both empower and overwhelm people.
